Review:
When Tabitha’s brother introduces her to Julian the chemistry is instant. Her sexual preference for dogging emerges and threatens to separate them before they get a chance to pursue a relationship. Hurt in previous relationships, the open forum of dogging draws Tabitha with its anonymity. Public sex and sharing aren’t things Julian is comfortable with but for Tabitha he might be willing to try.

When I read short erotica I expect sex in large, kinky quantities. Ms. Williamson did not disappoint. Graphic and exciting, each sexual situation was hotter than the last. Unfortunately there were some distracting formatting and editing errors that took me out of a few scenes. Between the sexual encounters, the physical fight scenes were great and I would like to see where Julian and Tabitha go in the future. I gave it 3 1/2 whips. It’s sexy and naughty but the errors were rough ones and took it down half a whip.

Review:

France, 1916. During WWI, high above the trenches, British and German aces fought for control of the skies. Strain and tension of war coupled with keeping one's love discreet leads to risky choices. When British ace Bat Bryant is threatened with exposure, he panics, killing the man intent on blackmail. To make matter worse, there's a witness—American pilot Cowboy Cooper. Cowboy, it seems, has his own ideas of rough justice.

Though not a huge history buff nor fan, I couldn't resist picking up Josh Lanyon's novella, Out of the Blue. And I'm extremely happy I did. Of all the Lanyon books I've read to date, I would have to say, Out of the Blue is some of Lanyon's best writing yet—Witty, charming, amazingly sensual, and funny—Well, that describes all Lanyon books, but there was something different about this one. I noticed the style is different compared to his other books, but if anything, his choice aids in the action, making the action concise—faster—better. Lanyon hits all the right buttons with his story of lost love and new beginnings set in France during WWI. British ace Bat Bryant and American pilot Cowboy Cooper seem an unlikely pair, yet Lanyon fashions the perfect scenario, feeding into a confrontation that plays out well. Against the odds and despite their wills, Bat and Cowboy work—and they work each other over pretty darn well throughout this story—did I forget to mention this story is hot? And Lanyon writes in these two men's emotions so perfectly, the story is utterly romantic on top of erotic. I give Out of the Blue the ultimate 5 whips, because I have read the story three times in the past week and have laughed aloud and gotten hot and bothered all over again with each reading. It is that good, truly. Readers of historical military and/or M/M erotic romance will absolutely want this one!

It’s said that timing is everything, but does that hold true in the bedroom, too? Tom and Lisa are compatible in every way—or so Tom thinks. They love each other, have a great apartment and share so many mutual interests. Most people would think the couple has it all. And they do—almost. The truth is that Lisa hasn’t been feeling nearly as sexually satisfied as Tom thinks she has. He just doesn’t rock her world—in that way. When a handsome co-worker invites Lisa to his posh beach house for the weekend, she dutifully fills him in on Tom and her unavailable status. But John is gracious enough to extend the offer to include Tom in the weekend getaway, and Lisa accepts his invitation. After all, why shouldn’t they have some fun? Maybe a weekend of sun, sand and sex is just what the couple needs to get their urges in sync. At least, that’s what Lisa and Tom are hoping. And John? What’s making him grin is still a mystery, but one he’s willing to share—for a price.

I loved this story and for only being forty pages or so, it packed a lot of sex, emotion and realism. Lisa’s love for Tom and her frustrations in the bedroom, combined with Tom’s adoration and willingness to do whatever it takes to keep her happy were very satisfying. When her forward co-worker John hit on her, I was afraid Lisa would ruin everything for a tumble with him. Fortunately, she and Tom forged a friendship with John that ended up strengthening their own – in and out of the bedroom. A great read!

Review:

Ever wonder about the people who work and the customers who frequent the sex club Velvet Ice?
Kendra came to the club to help her best friend celebrate her 21st birthday, on Halloween no less. Her curvy body dressed as a she-devil, her normally sane self agrees to try and gain access to the third floor. With securities distraction she makes it into the forbidden and mysterious playground.
Sinclair is ready to drag the woman back down the stairs where she belongs but finds himself drawn to her. The fascination on her face as she explores the scenes going on around her enthralls Sin. He knows she's a born Submissive and his attraction to an obvious novice is a big no-no.
Kendra gets herself into trouble with a more experienced Dom and its up to Sin to come to her rescue, but he isn't about to let her go. She came to explore a night of wild fantasy and Sin is the person to show her exactly what it means to belong to a man like him.
I will start off by saying that I LOVED this book! This short story by Violet Summers had that transient something that grabs you and makes the story believable and enjoyable. Kendra was this shy woman who wasn’t sure of herself until Sinclair came along and taught her and showed her everything missing. I really enjoyed watching her grow into a more confident woman who was comfortable with her sexuality and being a submissive. The plot of this story, wow, you can tell that the author planned this out, or has some major writing skills that most writers are lacking.
This author just keeps getting better with her stories. The characters are like people we know so well. This is a superb story and although it seems like a “typical” storyline. It’s not. Ms. Summers knows how to take a storyline that has been used in the past and make it her own, make it unique and something the readers will not be expecting. I highly recommend this book to readers.

Recently divorced romance writer Shelby O’Neill is burnt out and ready for a change. She packs up everything she owns and moves to Florida hoping new scenery and a change in climate will inspire her. When she’s caught accidentally watching her gorgeous neighbor having sex, she knows instantly he’s the key to ending her creative dry spell. She’s inspired to sit down and write for the first time in a year. The man is a god and quickly features as the new hero in her book. NFL star Christian LaCroix is outraged when he catches the woman next door spying on him while he’s having sex and is sure she’s just another celebrity-hounding journalist looking for a story. When he confronts her and discovers she’s nothing more than his new neighbor, he is immediately attracted to her feisty attitude and shapely figure. Shelby is nothing like the usual groupies he encounters and he pursues her with a vengeance. Her block is a thing of the past as she writes about each sexual encounter with her new lover. Given his feelings for journalists, Shelby is careful not to let Christian know she has cast him as the hero in her new book, much less that each caress, every kiss, and passionate embrace is inspiration for her writing. Shelby is sure this new romance novel is going to be the best she’s ever written thanks to her gorgeous lover—until Christian accidentally discovers her secret. Quickly she realizes that she’s lost her heart to this fierce man and that he’s more important than any bestseller. Shelby must prove that her deception was harmless but it’s up to Christian to trust his heart and accept the love Shelby offers.

As a writer myself, I can relate to Shelby’s muse-less state. I only wish my muse found its way back in such an erotic way! Watching her huge, sexy neighbor having sex from afar on New Year’s Eve, Shelby’s life takes an interesting turn from recently divorced and unable to write, to excited and creative. Christian unknowingly provides all the fodder she needs for a new book as he introduces her to a world of passion she’d never experienced except through her books. Unfortunately, Christian makes his hatred for the media very clear and Shelby’s intuition keeps her from revealing to him that he has the starring role as hero and sex god in her latest story. When he finds out, he’s furious. I loved the way Tierney Linn manages to fuse hot sex with tenderness. If she hadn’t, the forgiveness by the end of the story would not have seemed believable to me. Christian is a very sexual man with a romantic side. Shelby is a giving woman, willing to give love a second chance. If you want an erotic read with sweet elements, this is a great story for you.

Satisfy Me by Madison Scott

Tyson Malone is being stalked by a ghost. Between bouts of calling him Sugar Lips and Hot Cakes, the apparition makes it her goal to get Ty together with his sexy neighbor, Maggie Jacobson. Unfortunately, for her, Ty doesn’t do the relationship thing. He does sex with a no relationship clause. One look at Maggie is all it takes to know she’s a relationship kind of woman. Maggie is tired of living her life the way others dictate. When her mom leaves her a journal left behind by a grandmother she never met, Maggie is inspired.
This brave woman lived her life by her own set of rules and Maggie is ready to do the same. After moving to a new town, she meets Ty, a man who inspires her in a whole new, very sexual way. Taking control for the first time in her life, Maggie propositions him with a no strings affair. Soon they begin a journey to sexual satisfaction and bringing her fantasies to life.
Holy hot neighbor sex, Batman! This was one steamy read! I love a story that starts in the hero’s point of view because the way a man thinks fascinates me. Tyson Malone didn’t disappoint me, he’s all alpha male, right down to his manly talk and gutter mind. And his mind can’t stop thinking about his lovely new neighbor, Maggie Johnson. When he blurts out how hot he thinks she is, she’s shocked – no man has ever said such things to her. So, she propositions him for a sex-only relationship. It doesn’t take long for both of them to start realizing there’s more to their attraction than just sex though and it’s fun to watch their relationship develop into something deeper. And I always say the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Ty Malone definitely falls for the girl next door! Madison Scott is a great writer with dead on instincts for portraying how a man thinks and feels about sex and love and Maggie’s feelings felt realistic to me as well. Aside from some cruder language than I like to hear in a guy, I would recommend Satisfy Me to anyone who likes an erotic read!
